Kudlow, Wednesday, Feb 16, 2005 08:52:25

CNBC premiered "Kudlow & Company" last night and will probably start "Mad Money with Jim Cramer" tonight. If Cramer continues to sound like fingernails scratching a chalkboard, I'm sure he'll get lots of laughs. But Larry Kudlow once again proved he cannot elevate his game from the boring perma-bull he's always been. In my view, Kudlow can be a terrific host when he's not selling America. Unfortunately, he's always blowing the same smoke, and that's not a lot of laughs.

Hi Bill,
Welcome back, it seems your spirits are up again. You had a little downfall there with what was going on in your life. But it looks like you're back on track. It's always a pleasure to read your commentary, and it has been quiet around here lately.

I think right now Kudlow is selling Bush more than America, if Kerry had won then starting a few weeks ago we'd be headed for a great depression.

I don't watch much television but I read him sometimes in National Review. Believe me in that context he seems normal. You get people arguing that it was Reagon's tax cuts not Volkner's rate increases that broke inflation and that Clinton (make the sign of the cross at mention of that name!) was irresponsible because he started paying dwn debt with money that should have been given to the American people.
