Social Equity: Wednesday, January 12, 2005
As you know, the National Hockey League has locked out the players, so fans like me are really cranky these days, suffering withdrawal pains. "The season's gone," said Peter Karmanos Jr., the owner of the Carolina Hurricanes, yesterday. Recognizing that these players refuse to play under conditions of "cost certainty," and the owners refuse to put on the show without it (this season and perhaps next), a few of us fans think we might have a solution. This audio link pretty much sums up our feelings, and in the interests of social equity I thought you would like to hear it, and pass it along to your friends.
